December 13, 2019

MA in European History, Politics, and Society alumnus Tuure-Eerik Niemi recently co-authored a RAND Corporation report on consular collaboration in providing citizen services among EU member states. The report notes that EU countries have agreed that a citizen of an EU member state whose country of nationality is not represented in a third country qualifies for consular support. The report also explores examples of further consular collaboration, including in emergency services provisions and data transfer and sharing initiatives.
