Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet is a former French politician who currently works as the Vice-President of Cybersecurity at Capgemini in New York, a French multinational tech consulting company. Educated at the prestigious École Polytechnique (X1992), she rose in the ranks of the French State to become the Secretary of State for Digital Development and then Minister of Environment, under President Nicolas Sarkozy. She was a Member of Parliament for 10 years, and ran for the center-right presidential primaries in 2016. She then retired from political life after the 2017 legislative elections.
Mrs. Kosciusko-Morizet spoke to us about Europe in the digital age, and the challenges faced by nation-states in an era of increased cyberattacks and alternative media sources. This event took place in the East Gallery of Columbia's Maison Française on November 27th, 2018.
