David Stark, Arthur Lehman Professor of Sociology and International Affairs and a member of the European Institute’s Faculty Committee, has published an syndicated op-ed titled “We The People Of Europe.” Co-authored with Laszlo Bruszt, Professor of Sociology and Head of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute in Florence, the theme of the piece centers around lessons for the European Union from the United States in the 1780s.
