Mr. Whitney, a retired international investment banker, is a Director and the Chair of American Rivers, a national river conservation group; a director of BoardSource, a national organization focused on building and supporting non-profit boards; a trustee of the Early Music Foundation, a New York based promoter and sponsor of 11th–18th century music; and a member of the President’s Council of the Wilderness Society.
