Adam Tooze chairs the MA in Modern European Studies program, and teaches a range of courses in European History.

Tsveta Petrova is the Faculty Advisor to students in the Modern European Studies program and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from Cornell University in 2011. Tsveta teaches the colloquium that introduces MA students to key topics and issues in the study of Europe while also helping them develop reading, writing, and public speaking skills. In addition, she provides one-on-one advising and support to MA students—from identifying the classes and advisors that best fit their courses of study to helping them with thesis writing and post-graduation career planning.
