The Europe Seminar

The Europe Seminar, inaugurated in 2012-13, brings scholars from North America, Europe, and the world to Columbia for intense talks on European history, politics, economics, and society. The 2014-15 Europe Seminar was focused on the European public sphere and expanded on elements of the 2013-14 seminar that discussed the European economic and political crisis. The seminar is organized by Emmanuelle Saada, Associate Professor of French and History and the Institute’s Deputy Faculty Director.
