This workshop combines historical perspectives on Europe and European integration with the study of contemporary European politics and policy-making. It will examine the failings of dominant theories of European integration and explore new models in the light of twentieth-century history and the actual dynamic of contemporary policy-making. Organized jointly by the BEI and Central European University’s Center for European Union Research.
