Europe and the Mediterranean (Panel)

In this two-day workshop, young and advanced scholars working in history, politics, religion, literature, anthropology, and other disciplines discussed the constitution of European and Mediterranean Studies as fields and the ways they may interact to propel research in new directions. The participants’ collective expertise touched on every part of the Mediterranean basin. A blog, Mediterranean Departures, continues the workshop’s dialogue.
